چکیده

Abstract The radioisotope 26 Al is a key observable for nucleosynthesis in the Galaxy and environment of early Solar System. To properly interpret large variety astronomical meteoritic data, it crucial to understand both nuclear reactions involved production relevant stellar sites physics such sites. These range from winds low- intermediate-mass asymptotic giant branch stars; massive very stars, their Wolf–Rayet final core-collapse supernovae (CCSN); ejecta novae, explosions that occur on surface white dwarf accreting material companion. Several affect these astrophysical objects, including (but not limited to) 25 Mg( p , γ ) Al, Al( 27 Si, n / α ). Extensive experimental effort has been spent during recent years improve our understanding reactions. Here we present summary motivation study review its different sites, timely evaluation currently available data. We also provide recommendations input into models suggest relevant, future work.

Temperature dependence of modified CNO nuclear reaction rates in dense stellar plasmas

We study the dependence of the CNO nuclear reaction rates on temperature, in the range of 10 ÷ 10 K, the typical range of temperature evolution from a Sun-like star towards a white dwarf. We show that the temperature dependence of the CNO nuclear reaction rates is strongly affected by the presence of non-extensive statistical effects in the dense stellar core. A very small deviation from the Ma...

Prediction of nuclear reaction rates for astrophysics

The investigation of explosive nuclear burning in astrophysical environments is a challenge for both theoretical and experimental nuclear physicists. Highly unstable nuclei are produced in such processes which again can be targets for subsequent reactions. The majority of reactions can be described in the framework of the statistical model (compound nucleus mechanism, Hauser–Feshbach approach),...
